竹林高宇霜露清，
朱絲玉徽多故情。
暗識啼烏與別鶴，
秪緣中有斷腸聲。

On bamboo leaves and rooftops the autumn dew is clear
vermilion strings and jade harmonies multiply old feelings
Calling Crows and Departing Cranes are tunes I somehow recognize
containing as they do the sounds of a breaking heart
